MAF Provides Compassion, Care, and Case Management for HIV Positive Individuals

MAF’s Client Services Department is staffed by knowledgeable and dedicated Medical Case Managers committed to providing services to our clients. Services are free and confidential to eligible people living with HIV who meet income and residency requirements.

 

Client Services assists clients with enrolling onto health insurance, meeting with medical providers, applying for rental subsidies, assisting with our in-house Food Pantry and providing access to transportation..

 

Enrolled clients have no fees for their HIV medications, their medical insurance, to see their doctors or to have their labs completed. We strive for undetectable viral loads but more importantly, a healthy individual with dignity and quality of life.

 

Our Prevention and Clinical Departments work closely with Client Services, introducing newly diagnosed individuals to a case manager during their appointments and frequently begin HIV medications that day, no insurance is needed.

 

If you are living with HIV, you should not be paying for your medications, your health insurance or to see your doctor.

We have programs to cover these fees and provide support .

We can also help you apply for a rental subsidy and utility bills, to lower your housing expenses.
