WE PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING HEALTHCARE OPTIONS:
- MedQuest (HI Medicaid)
- Medicare
- Healthcare.gov (Obamacare)
- Individual Health Insurance
ARE YOU A HEALTHY ADULT BETWEEN 19 – 64?
• You may qualify for MedQuest health insurance, if you meet the eligibility requirements.
• MedQuest insurance is free.
• Health insurance options include AlohaCare Quest, HMSA Quest, Kaiser Permanente Quest, Ohana Health Plan Quest, and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan.
HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR MEDICARE?
• If you are aged, blind or disabled (ABD), you may qualify for Medicare.
• If you are over 65, you may qualify for Medicare

CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN (CHIP)
• If you have children under 18, you may qualify for CHIP if you meet the eligibility criteria.
• CHIP insurance is free.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR MED-QUEST (HAWAII'S CHIP PROGRAM)
You must be:
• A Hawaii resident
• A U.S. citizen or legal non-citizen
• Have a low income
• You must also provide proof of citizenship and a Social Security number.
Key points about Med-QUEST eligibility:
• Income limits: Eligibility is primarily based on income level, which is compared to federal poverty level guidelines.
• Age groups: Children, pregnant women, and adults with low income may all qualify depending on their specific situation.
• Immigration status: Legal non-citizens can be eligible.
• Proof of residency: You must demonstrate that you live in Hawa
JOB-BASED INSURANCE
• In 1974, Hawaii State Law requires private employers in the state to provide health insurance for their employees who work at least 20 hours a week for at least 4 weeks in a row.
